The factory cooling system has the engine and the liquid cooled intercooler both using the same plastic tank. What happens is the factory cooling system gets overwhelmed by the heat soak. The Moroso Coolant & Intercooler Tank Kits, separate the engine’s cooling from the liquid cooled intercooler cooling.
