The Eventuri Audi 8Y RS3 LHD Carbon Turbo Inlet for the U.S. market is a precision-engineered upgrade developed to remove the primary airflow restriction found in the factory turbo inlet. By dramatically increasing internal volume, improving flow path geometry, and reducing thermal transfer into the intake charge, this system allows the turbocharger to operate more efficiently—particularly on tuned and hybrid turbo applications.

The OEM inlet immediately narrows after the intake connection, limiting airflow as boost demand increases. Eventuri addresses this with a significantly larger internal diameter throughout the inlet, expanding from 72mm to 103mm at the intake side and from 56.4mm to 74mm at the turbo outlet. This increased cross-sectional area allows a greater volume of air to be delivered directly to the compressor, reducing restriction and improving turbo response.

Flow quality is further enhanced through the use of high-temperature prepreg carbon fiber, which provides a smooth internal surface and optimized curvature to minimize turbulence. Unlike cast aluminum alternatives, the carbon construction maintains a cleaner airflow path while also reducing heat conduction into the intake charge.

To control thermal transfer, the inlet uses a CNC-machined turbo flange paired with a silicone coupler featuring an integrated thermal spacer. This prevents direct heat soak from the turbocharger, preserving air density and improving consistency under load.

This U.S.-spec version includes the additional breather hardware required for North American 8Y RS3 models and is finished in raw carbon for a true motorsport aesthetic.
