These Mahle Motorsports pistons are the perfect stock replacement option for Duramax guys looking to make up to 900HP. Theses delipped pistons disperse heat much better then stock and the coated skirts ensure excellent skirt wear and oil control. We install these pistons in many of our entry level builds where customers have small to medium injector and turbo upgrades. Thanks to this piston retaining is OE steel top ring land customers can expect a long wear life unlike forged pistons that only last 15-20,000 miles.

For camshafts larger in lift and duration then Socal's 3388, DHD recommends purchasing pistons with valve reliefs. Use the list below to determine the part number you need.

Compression Ratio in relation to Bore with .075" reliefs:

Options:

Choose the "Thermal Coating " option to have the piston tops coated with a heat resistant barrier, for that extra protection at high cylinder temperatures.
