PERRIN Front Mount Intercooler Kit Red Piping/Black Core - Subaru WRX 2002-2007 / STI 2004-2007

When you have made enough power to maximize your factory top-mount intercooler, then it may be time to upgrade to one of PERRIN's Front Mount Intercooler Kits. The Front Mount Intercooler Kit is ideal for those of you who have got upgraded injectors and have enough mods to surpass the factory boost levels. Or even if you have a custom rotated setup then the front mount intercooler will provide the proper amount of cooling needed to cool the air going from the turbocharger then into your engine. 

The PERRIN Intercooler Core is a pretty solid design that is a 3/8" bar and plate style that has a 3/8" charge air and ambient air path when compared to the standard 1/4' intercooler sizing. This design is more durable than the tube and fin design and it should be able to withstand most road impediments. This is also a massive core that measures at 28" long X 9.25" tall, and 3.5" deep that has a total volume of 906.5 cubic inches. Additionally, this intercooler core comes with a robust support beam  that is fabricated from boxed steel and has been powder-coated black for extra protection against rust and corrosion. 

This particular intercooler finish will come in black for those of you who want the stealth look. And the boost tubes will come in a textured red powder-coated finish to add some flavor to the engine bay. These intercooler pipes have been made with smooth bends to promote better boost flow without too much turbulence or interference. These pipes are 2.25" in diameter, and have been designed to as much clearance on the cold side as possible to work with most aftermarket turbo and intake combinations. 

Other additions include an adapter to the turbo, as well as all the necessary silicone couplers, T-bolt clamps and miscellaneous hardware to make for a ready installation.
