Prior to the release of these mirrors covers, it was common to place carbon fiber overlays on top of your OEM paint matched covers. Carbon Reproductions takes a plastic piece and carefully overlays it in carbon. This ensures that there is full coverage with no gaps.

Also there is no double sided adhesive involved in this installation. Simply pop out your stock pieces, and pop these right in.
