The 4th gen Toyota Tacoma and 6th Gen 4Runner in various trims come with a "Front wind dam " or chin spoiler. 

The community has agreed this is an awfully designed piece of plastic. It must be removed for better offroad approach angles and cleaner looking front end.

But a common problem to removing this piece is the increased wind noise from the holes in the front lower control arms at various speeds. Almost a " whistle " noise

Our plugs fit directly into the control arm openings and will remove the wind howl sound completely. One simple mod to remove 100% of the increased NVH.

They push right in, it is a tight fit so be patient and they'll slide right into the holes beneath the control arm.

Removing chin spoiler instructions:

Removing the front chin spoiler (air dam) on a 2024 Toyota Tacoma / 2025 4Runner is a simple 5-15 minute modification that improves aesthetics and approach angle. Using a 10mm socket or Philips head screwdriver, remove the 9-11 bolts securing the plastic air dam to the bumper. It is recommended to re-install the screws to secure the inner fender liners, and consider installing a skid plate to protect exposed components.
