The BMW B58 engine is an extremely tunable turbo platform. Coming in popular vehicles like the M240i and 340i amongst others, the B58 turbocharger can really make some power with more efficiency. There is one weak point that will prevent you from making more power which is the factory turbo inlet pipe. VR Performance combats this issue with the upgraded turbo inlet kit.

Due to the factory charge pipe being made of plastic, it is prone to cracking and popping off at higher boost pressures. Replacing it with the VR Performance upgraded turbo inlet pipe will increase your reliability and give you peace of mind when turning up the power. This also removes the resonator which impedes air flow. With the VR pipe, efficiency is improved as the smooth aluminum construction allows for the air to travel at a higher volume than the factory pipe.

The VR Performance charge pipe uses a specifically placed PCV connector to prevent check engine lights. If sensors and PCV lines are improperly placed, the vehicle can go into limp mode and render the charge pipe useless. Precision fitment was achieved thanks to 3D scanning and CAD modeling.
