The 5000 Series T3 features precise CNC machined tri symmetrical slots, resulting in an even quieter, more responsive and smoother braking experience. The T3 slot increases the number of exit points for brake pad friction dust and gases to escape through, further increasing the consistency and effectiveness of every brake stop. DBA recommends a T3 slot for high performance applications. T3 rotors are denoted by the suffix (S) in 5000 Series part numbers.

Thermo-Graphic paint markings on the edge of DBA's 5000 Series rotors change color at specific temperature thresholds allowing you to check your braking performance quickly and easily. Green changes to white at 856°F, orange will change to yellow at 1022°F and the red will change to white after 1166°F. Ideal braking temperatures are between 850°F and 1000°F (so the green will become white and the orange and red are unchanged).
