This new Type-RS Carbon Fiber Hood made by Anderson Composites is hand-crafted from premium quality wet carbon fiber using 3K 2x2 weave carbon fiber fabric. It is infused with marine-grade resin to create a lightweight yet strong hood with a glossy show-quality finish! This coating is resistant to damage from the sun thanks to UV inhibitors. It features a mesh screen which is not only removable but also paintable to match your Ford! This hood (AC-HD16FDFO-RS) weights approximately 18.2 pounds and will install using OEM hood hardware.

Please Note: Modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of the O.E. windshield washer spray nozzles and fluid lines as part of the normal installation process.

Tech Tip: Anderson Composites does not suggest re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts and recommends the use of a hood prop rod. They also recommend the use of hood pins for safety reasons and strongly advise to install a heat shield on the underside of this hood.
