Clutch Masters replacement flywheels for the 2016-2018 Focus RS. These flywheels are available in aluminum or steel and can be used with the FX Series single disc clutch kits. These flywheels are a single mass flywheel (SMF) and are not dual mass (DMF) like factory, but can be used as an OEM replacement.

Vehicle Fitment:
2016-2018 Ford Focus RS

Purchase Includes:
(1) Flywheel

Flywheel Bolt Notes:
Do not reuse OEM flywheel bolts. They are designed to stretch and should be replaced after use. We currently don't stock the Ford flywheel bolts, but the part number is 8G9Z-00812-A.

More Info:
Clutch Masters flywheels are designed and tested to ensure the safety and quality of every flywheel. Made from 6061 T6 billet aluminum, 1045 or 4140 billet steel. SFI Certified meeting performance standards for the automotive and motorsport industry. Photos are for reference and each flywheel may vary.

What's the difference between SMF and DMF?
SMF stands for single mass flywheel, DMF is dual mass flywheel. The OEM flywheel is a DMF designed to help reduce vibration and noise. There's a lot of arguments for and against SMF vs DMF and aluminum vs steel, so please do all your own research and choose what's right for your build.

DMF Dual Mass Flywheel:
• Designed to reduce noise and vibration
• Designed for light street driving
• Typically more expensive
• Cannot be resurfaced
• Usually weigh 30+ pounds
• Not designed to handle racing abuse

SMF Single Mass Flywheel:
• Lightweight, less rotating mass
• Quicker acceleration
• Can be resurfaced
• Typically noisy
• May affect the life of your clutch
