Radium Engineering 94-05 Mazda Miata/MX-5 Fuel Rail

OVERVIEW
This fuel rail is CNC machined from extruded 6063 aluminum, black anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. It is a direct replacement for the OEM fuel rail. Plumbing kits are available that provide all the necessary parts to install and plumb the fuel rail with OEM components. The kits are compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85. The OEM plastic spacers are reused and phenolic washers are included to thermally insulate the fuel rail from the aluminum intake manifold. 

PORTS AND FITTINGS

The fuel rail features three threaded ports that are all tapped for 8AN ORB. What is ORB? Click HERE
The auxiliary top port on the fuel rail can be used for fuel system accessories such as a pressure gauge, fuel pulse damper, or it can simply be plugged.

If building a custom fuel setup, appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

COMPATIBILITY
This fuel rail is compatible with most Mazda 1.8L DOHC BP engines:

1994-1997 Mazda Miata
1999-2005 Mazda MX-5 
1994-1996 Eunos Roadster

As shown in the diagram below, there are two different mounting locations on the fuel rail, which allow it to be installed on mutliple engines.

FUEL INJECTOR COMPATIBILITY
Like the OEM fuel rails, the injector bores are 11mm ID so factory injectors are compatible. However, any aftermarket fuel injectors can be used as long as they have the same overall height and O-ring diameters as the OEM injectors.
