RCE's classic Yellow lowering springs offer an excellent combination of function and form for WRX/ STI. While the new VA Subaru models show impressive chassis refinement there is still some room left for improvement. Following an in-depth evaluation of the VA suspension, RaceComp Engineering Yellow spring rates are an aggressive 350 lbs/in front and 330 lbs/in rear that match the new OEM valving on the WRX/ STi. The Yellow spring set also retains more bump travel than competitors springs by including new front and rear bump stops and a drop of 22mm front and rear. The goal was to minimize the understeer built into these cars from the factory and offer a spring that not only performs exceptionally at the limit but also retains ride comfort for around town daily drivers. Adding the RCE Yellows results in a car that handles extremely well from corner entry to corner exit.
