BorgWarner S480SX aka 11087 80mm S400SX (179180)

The 80.30mm S400SX3 is BorgWarner’s answer to offering exceptionally high value and ultra high performance turbos to the sport compact market. Using a 7-blade Extended Tip compressor wheel w/ 80.30mm inducer and 109.73mm exducer, this turbocharger is often called “S480” and is ideal for people who require more airflow than the S400SX 76mm can deliver, but on the 87.37mm turbine wheel. Recommended for use in high power and high boost 750-1250+ whp applications.

The S400SX turbos share identical fitment as GT42R on T4 Divided turbine flange. Available with a 1.10 A/R turbine housing OR upgradeable to a 1.25 A/R for extremely high boost operations and if extra exhaust flow is required. Full-Race strongly recommends using an upgraded transmission! Journal Bearing and Oil Cooled only (Watercooling and BB CHRA not applicable).
