This is the GrimmSpeed 3-Inch GESI V2 Catted Downpipe. GrimmSpeed took one of their best-performing and highest-quality designs and still managed to make even more improvements. This is a fully redesigned version for the 08-15 WRX/STI and 05-09 Legacy GT models and created a 2-piece design. This will help to keep the US welding and manufacturing, as well as the packaging and shipping costs down to provide the performance consumer with a downpipe in a reasonable price range. Additionally, it will help with the installation for those of you installing this unit alone, and you don't have to use makeshift exhaust stands or go through the hassle of balancing this downpipe on your own. 

Another great design feature is the cast steel collectors that surround the car. These are stamped with the GrimmSpeed logo and also allow for optimized exhaust flow when compared to other aftermarket offerings. Implemented in the design is a GESI Catalytic Converter, one of the major changes in the V2 J-pipe. This cat still maintains the former high-flowing characteristics in a much more stronger and robust construction that has the ability to clean the particulates without sacrificing flow, and the location mimics the OEM location as well.
