Developed as a carbon fiber reinterpretation of the original BMW E46 M3 "intake suction hood," the Burkhart Engineering front air duct delivers on complete lightweight carbon fiber construction. This component channels fresh air from the front kidney grilles directly into the factory intake system or towards the CSL airbox. Unlike other similar products that reuse the factory air duct with a thin carbon overlay applied, Burkhart's unit completely replaces the factory heavy plastic duct with a stronger, and much lighter carbon fiber version.
