HQ Series Coil-overs | 2006-2015 Mazda Miata (NC)

Ridetech is pleased to announce the expansion of its popular HQ coil-over lineup to include the 2006–2015 (NC) Mazda Miata. 

Ridetech continues to add to their already impressive line-up of performance suspension systems for late model performance vehicles. The majority of those have stayed within Ridetech’s traditional brand focus and include popular domestic marques such as the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger/Charger. 

While each is a great driver’s cars, 400+ horsepower and 8 cylinders on tap are certainly not a prerequisite for enjoying a spirited drive on a favorite backcountry road, or a weekend autocross or track day. 

Mazda Miatas, particularly in the “Spec Miata” competition configuration, are the most commonly campaigned vehicle by amateur racers on tracks around the world on any given weekend. And if you’ve ever taken the time to drive or ride in one, it’s easy to see why. Colin Chapman, the legendary Formula One Lotus car builder, is often remembered for his mantra of: “Simplify, then add lightness.” The Miata has both of those characteristics in spades. 

Ridetech’s HQ series coil-overs further improve the handling capabilities of the third generation Miata, offering a digressive valve package that inspires confidence and encourages enthusiasts to push harder into each turn. Fox Factory ride-height and rebound-adjustable monotube coil-overs ratchet up the performance potential for anyone behind the wheel. 

Despite being hard-mounted at both the top and bottom, the coil-overs provide performance without unwanted NVH, making these a great upgrade for anyone desiring track capable tunability without over compromising such that the vehicle is no longer enjoyable for daily driver duties.

Ridetech recommends setting ride height at 12.75” front and 13” in the rear. This equates to a 1.5” front height reduction and 1.375” out back. Selected spring rates are 575 lbs./inch in front and 350 lbs./inch in back.
