Relocate Your Factory Air Intake. Don't be afraid about hydro-locking your Wrangler JK's engine when crossing over deep water after you install this XHD Low Mount Snorkel Kit by Rugged Ridge. This Low Mount Snorkel is designed to relocate your factory air intake system from the engine bay to just below the windshield, which will help prevent your air filter from being clogged by dust or soaked by water. Since the legendary OEM Jeep parts marker Rugged Ridge engineered this snorkel kit, the Low Mount Snorkel will be able to take as much abuse as your Jeep does.

Modular Design. If the going gets really rough and you need to raise the air filter even more, Rugged Ridge designed this Low Mount Snorkel to be a modular design. Without having to purchase a completely different snorkel kit, you will only need to install the Rugged Ridge's XHD High Mount Snorkel Extension, part# 17756.07 (sold separately). The Extension will connect to the Low Mount Snorkel, so you can raise the air filter another 21 inches to put it at the top of the windshield.
